posting a hair update- has nearly been a year of growing it out.
feeling really good about it! glad that it has been looking a lot nicer lately, both a combo of the added length and also a product swap to miss jessie’s coily custard that doesn’t weigh it down as much.
I am thinking of getting a trim soon just for maintenance and to give it some shape, but am terrified to get it cut since it matters so much more now that it’s longer and so curly.
do any other curly haired folks have tips for good salons that won’t break the bank? just looking for a basic haircut as I grow it out- maybe 3x a year.
thanks for any tips! xo
